Well today I got the passenger side inner tubs done, trunk floor drop in, everything lined up very very nice. (after a TON of tweeking lol). The 1/4 panels are now both cut and temperary fitted into place prepped for welding.
I have to remove the 1/4's again to do some final welding and patching on the inside and then prime/paint the inside of the car behind the 1/4 panel as there is no hope in hell of me getting primer/paint in there after the 1/4 panels are welded back on.
Timline for the car.
I have 6 hours of welding left maybe 8 but thats it. At that point the challenger is 100% back together body wise.
At least 4 hours of grinding left of all the welds etc...
Then the car is ready for the body filler. That will be a bit of a project on its own as I plan to use some new techniques which I normally don't worry about. (spray on body filler, this car is going to be STRAIGHT!, more details on this when I get to that point)
Final Choices:
Color: WA418P Atomic Orange with Rallye Black side stripes and Black Hood Blackout (with HEMI) cut out of the black on each side.
Engine: GEN III 6.1L HEMI Which DAVE from Rosevillemoparts.com helped us pick out.
Tranny: 727 with 1800 - 2300 Stall built up to handle the power.
Rear End: 3:23 for now will be looking at taller gears maybe, but I dont see the need for them.
Pics for the car are coming right away, just waiting for the email to get here.
