2012 Calendar Reminder
« on: December 19, 2010 - 04:52:56 PM »
I told you guys I was going to keep bringing this up

By now, plenty of places north of the equator have had serious snow, so if you want snow shots, get out there. Be careful, though; don't let yourself get hurt, and don't hurt your car.

In the Christian world it's the Christmas season. Does your town have a big Christmas tree which you could park your car in front of for a shot? It's a little corny, but you could put a big bow on your car for a shot as well.

Also in the northern hemisphere we're at the very shortest days of the year. If you've got a bulb setting (let's you lock the shutter open) and a tripod, get night shots. Especially if you can include the sky, you'll get nice star tracks over your car (see below).
