Thanks guys, I believe I am checking out today.  Seems quick to me, but im all for it. Gotta ride for 50 miles or so, and trying to get in and out of a truck isnt fun, but healing up and home is the best way.
Yeah, its amazing at how short hospital stays are anymore for what seems like major stuff, eh?

Just make sure you REST....that means staying on your butt!  Dont rush the recovery, no matter how great you think you feel....

That shouldn't be a problem, just slide you in the back you can then get that horrible hospital smell out of your lungs. Just take it easy and Father Christmas will bring you some nice presents.

Im home.   I hurt like hell of course.   I am confined to the house.  10 to 14 days.  then get these staples out.  What hurts is where they sewed the muscle back onto the bone around my plates. Pulling that 6 inch blood drain tube out of pelvic is an experience you wont forget.  They are bringing my dad here by ambulance in about 8 hrs from now.  so we had to have a friend come by and move the bed and stuff out of the guest room for the hospital bed to be put in there.  I am so helpless right now.  But I cant expect my wife to carry all the load either.  We havent been home for a month. Trying to get my home back in order is a pita

I came out early to take care of my dad.   He does not want to die in a hospital all alone.  I have flesh wounds, dad is terminal.  I can suck up a bit , I love making people happy. Family I go the full 9 yards.

I was up at 3 am doing laundry and cleaning my house some.  We haven't been here for a month.  I don't want anyone to think I live like a pig

Hey Alan,

Nobody would think you live like a pig.  :grinno:  Maybe a horse, over four hundred of 'em!  :grinyes:   :smilielol:

Just trying to put a smile on your face. Merry Christmas to the family from Anna, Eric and I.
