Modified, would be classed as, Restified, I'm sure you've heard that?  :grinyes:

My car uis being restored but with a few of my personal touches and with some of todays tech = Restified.  ;D

:grinyes:  Cute NZ . . . . I thought restified meant 'bringing it back from the dead' kind of situation??  But I guess you can call it anything you want!!

I prefer to classify my restoration/modification as a resto-modification!! She's got all NEW metal, and getting aftermarket and performance parts to my tastes and likings!! Not a cloned car by any means... definately custom, but also restored... it can be looked at in many different ways!!

Our Chally is like noneother, it was done the way my wife said to do it, and you da*n well better believe I agreed, lol. It was done Pams' way, and you know what, it looks just fine to me :worship: :grinyes:

Call it what you want, do it your way and that is all that counts, your are the one accountable and responsible. But when you get down to it 4C I think explained it in a nut shell.

Hmm, don't really have a name for us so called plane jane fixer uppers out here, guess I would have to go with just calling them what ever they are, Hemi 'Cuda, 6Pak Challenger, Challenger or a 'Cuda, MFO, I try not to classify them, only by how well they look and how much I like them. I give credit to both the MFO's and the sweet numbers cars.  My .02 cents.  Hey, there ya go!! MFO's  (i'll let you figure it out)

Well,

Mine's a 74 360 auto that's gonna end up a 440-6 4speed.  If you want to play "what's in a name" It's not really a clone since they never made one, I don't consider it "Custom" because I reserve that for cars that have fancy paint jobs, 5.7 ltr. Hemi's ( not really a Hemi, but that's what they call it ) completely non-stock interiors etc.  When I'm happily working on it I call it "modified".  When I'm not happy with it I call it lots of things the Forum won't let me type.  :burn:

For the most part it's just "mine" or "no, I don't want to sell it"  Or my favorite, when asked what kind of Camaro it is " It's a special one, they made this model so that it goes fast"  :driving:

Hello Everyone,  For my 2 cents worth,(or less) the no's match thing is a lot more important to the purist than to the average Mopar fan I think.  Especially to those of us who want to drive the car on a somewhat regular basis.  The fun factor on a '73 or '74 Cuda/Chall w/ a 440 is not one bit less than on a no's match 440 to me.  I had a new '70 383 Cuda, which was a genuine blast to drive, but I get just as much fun out of the '73 w/ non factory 440 in it.  And it has the same great look to it.  It is definitely not some thing you can drive & not be seen.  I think my Challenger will be in the same category.  All the rest of you w/ your modifieds, or customs or whatever, I hope will just love & enjoy your Mopars like I do.  See ya'll!!!!  Ovmf

This is a mostly original car only painted 1 time, very solid, not orig eng.  It will be the same color as my '70 Cuda when I am through.  Ovmf

:iagree:  For me it's the building & the crusin around, these cars will never be show quality but I did do 90% myself, my blood(literally) is in these cars! I will get just as much or more of a thrill now that I'm older as I did picking up my 74 at the dealer 30 years ago!  :burnout: Rich.
