AMD 71' front fenders

I was told that the 71' Cuda AMD reproduction louvered areas are not as crisp a forging compared to the originals.

Anyone have a good close up pic of that area? Or feedback?

I got a 70 fender from ebodyproducts and it was pretty much crap. Not meaning to call the guy out as he is a member here, I think (hope) he was actually getting away from the brand and going to something different. People just need to know what products are good and not good.

As for AMD, I hope they are better.

I just talked to Mike @AMD ,71 louvered fenders were approved about a week and a half ago and are in production,but  are not available yet for about 2 months.

Hey go-fish if the fender didnt' fit good you should have let me know.  I put a set on my cuda and they fit good.  I have sold several sets and they all had good reviews.

Let me know if there is anything that I can do...

Has anybody bought the 71 Cuda Goodmarks? What was your feedback on fit and finish?

I ended up using Goodmark fenders for my 'cuda and they looked and fit pretty good. But then again I don't have louvers in mine so I can't really comment on that aspect of them.

the gilled 71 fender from goodmark are pretty good, We have sold plenty of these and have had no major issues,
each fender is it own and may need a little massaging here or there. AMD fender we wont see for a while just like the challenger fender. not for another 2-3 months

Income Tax refund check is on the way.  The wife allows me (yes, allows, you single guys won't understand) a portion of the refund for the B'Cuda.  Being a '71, and aside from the grill, the front fenders with the gills are the most noticeable feature to the car.  AMD, according to the web site, now has the '71 fenders with gill punch-outs.  Price is $650 each fender.  My DS is fiberglass - way back when, it was the only option.  So, I'd like to replace it with a metal fender, and the PS will get the $99 a pair gill punch-out patch.

It has the "Chrysler Authentic Restoration" seal.

Any thoughts?   Go with AMD or Goodmark? 
I really want a fender I can mount without having the paint/body guy doing a bunch of work - asking too much?

AMD fenders are NOT in stock yet, not sure if they are even on the water. As for goodmarks they are on back order and not sure if they are going to restock them. i will be making posts once they arrive on the forums.

as for your body guy taking these out of the box, hanging them on with out any blocking or massaging is wishfull thinking.

i got a set of the sherman/goodmark 71 gilled fenders from daniel ( ebodyproducts )and they fit good,they just needed a little tweaking on the lower mounting holes and nobody could beat his price. and as far as the amd fenders they have been telling people 2 weeks/2 months for about two years now and from what i have been reading about their full quarters i am glad i didnt wait.

My local vendor said they're back ordered right now. He said I could pay now and be on a waiting list. 
He's getting them but not a whole lot and the one's he gets are pre paid orders from before.
