1973 challenger what a messssss
« on: December 27, 2010 - 05:59:29 AM »
so i picked up a 73 challenger in ny nice motor tranny rear and new leafsprings. She made a drive home over an hour with fake plates :) got her home registered it and went to take it to the body shop she died and kept dying every couple of blocks after it got warm. the motor is a 383 that is suppposed to be built with forged pistons and rods and all that good stuff and a holly 750 double pumper carb on it. Im just starting to get into the project. And the front wheels are crosseyed which maks driving the car sound like im in a police chase from an 80s movie :):):)

Sounds like  the ballast resistor or the electronic ignition box? Or the fuel pump or fuel pump rod? Does it fire up right away? Do you think it's a  ignition or fuel problem?
