Two final questions...I'm growing weary of this one already  :roflsmiley:

Did you ever once offer any compensation to him?  What I see is that you got a free car and this man lost $45,000 for a crime that he had no part of.

Oh, should I go back and edit my posts to appear more clever later as well?

Buddy,

My pc is on it's last legs and I couldn't get the attached story to pull up, but I am just curious to know if you had the car insured at the time it was stolen (if not, why not) and if you had it insured, did you not get paid for the insured value at the time?

You meant "hear", correct?  'Cuz, "here" means I have to go there to hear it.

I vote for locking the thread...it's headed nowhere, fast.

If you believe what Buddy says then it sounds like this Paul guy was not a stand up guy to Buddy when he found out the car was stolen.  Sorry his customer/friend lost out but the car was stolen and to not be straight with Buddy about resolving it was criminal.  If someone does right by you but attempts to screw someone else then that makes them OK?  If anyone is defending someone who is criminal then they have to ask themselves where they stand on honesty?  I'm just sayin'.

I like belgium cudas post , I am blown away at how many engines have been returned to the original cars by the vin collectors  over the years .after all first the cars loose good engines they survive undamaged to be later found again , i guess none were used in race cars and also why remove an engine from a car that was good enough to restore many years later , people need to wake up and look around mopar sold so many blank blocks it would overwhelm the car market even build sheets show up for a price . or maybe this is just all blind luck . :roflsmiley:

no the insurance did not pay for the loss !the car was stored ... i sent you an e-mail ..the federal courts, fbi,sc.district atty. all investigated that. if you saw the title history on the car you would laugh.  a collectable classic car "dealer '' bought/traded  the car for his freind?! they never thought about checking the title out ?
