Its been almost 4 yrs since I got my Cuda and I will never forget the help and support I received from members of this site! I have gotten lazy and not completed a few loose ends on the car, but decided this window had to be dealt with now. My problem is in the channel that runs up & down and located directly behind the window crank handle.

When I got the door panel off, I discovered one white plastic wheel and one speed nut in the door bottom. There was also a movable stud (no white plastic wheel) at the bottom of the channel and another white plastic wheel w/stud under that- also in the bottom of the channel. THe window glass has either one or two small holes that the white wheel fits fine but there is also a large hole that doesnt seem to line up with anything. I was able to put one white wheel through the small hole and attach it to the stud and put a speed nut on. THe window now rolls up and down but not easily.

I have TWO QUESTIONS: What should I use on the threads of that stud to keep the speed nut from coming off AGAIN (loctite?) and is there only supposed to be one of these up/down studs in this channel. I was thinking maybe the other one was there from a previous repair that I had done several yrs ago but that other hole in the glass seems to be for something?

That pic seems to show that the track has two mounting wheels as I kind of thought. I only have one attached now, will need to get another speed nut and an extra set of hands!
Still wondering what I should put on the threads to keep these from coming loose again?

use loctite ,,just use the green type which is just a thread lock and will break loose easy,,dont use red type

This happened on mine as well, although the passenger side.  I bought a rebuild kit from http://www.themoparshop.com/shop/index.php?cPath=32_277  It is not the easiest job but you can do it with some help from a buddy.  I used the green loctite.  it is holding together very well.
