At some point I'd like to try the Ride tech HD series but no funds for that at the moment.

Brad.. as for shocks, consider fully double-adjustable QA1 shocks.. not cheap, but fully adjustable so to get the best handling results and allowable changes pending charachteristics you'll find sooner or later... and to match different road course events, etc.   The QA1 dbl adjusts are on my "must have" list... I know ppl who have them and they are amongst the best choices for ultimate handling and "tuning" for the car.
Autocross/road racers go in deeper... and come out harder!

Thanks for the input  Mitch :2thumbs:  At the circle track I work at QA1 are pretty common, but they use the take apart ones that are revalveable. (street stock...it's a rule thing) They seem to like them ok.
The tires (and seats ) are now the limiting factor. Chassis has lots left.... tires not so much! :grinno:

Mitch, I have ordered the DA QA1 shocks, should be here tomorrow. I couldn't use the  TD901 like in the catalogue, I used TD801 due to the lowered ride height as per QA1's recommendations. ( I e-mailed QA1 my ride heights and this is what they suggested)
I REALLY wanted these, but couldn't afford them. :-\

Brad... I believe you just made an excellent decision in the Dbl-Adjustable QA1 shocks... I may very likely end up getting the same model numbers you have with the "lowered" ride height.   Did you get fronts and rears?  Please let me know how you like them (I know plenty of the local road racers use them).

Just got the bushings (3/4" id) I needed to install them. On the part # I got you remove the t-bar and replace the lower bushing . I machined up bushings so they fit the Challenger. QA1 sells the bushings but I have a lathe right here in the garage so I made my own. Busy weekend  I hope to install these soon. For now I just have the rears, when funds allow I'll get the fronts too.

I have singles in the rear and liked them so much I bought doubles for the front.  I don't have any special ride height issues or really use the car for performance but the adjustability has really improved the quality of the ride in my Challenger.

I have the QA1 DA on all 4 corners now. Haven't had much time to play with them yet. Also swapped in new 18" tires and rims
18x11 on all 4 corners 315/30/18 up front and 295/40/18 in the rear.

Brad,
Any plans for flaring the rear quarters?

No... I'd like to keep it being able to go back to stock with bolt ons. I kept the original fenders so I can go back if I ever wanted to at some point. Rear tires fit fine as is.

Brad,
Thanks for talking with me the other day.  I did a little more research, and heard that Howe Racing can create an upper ball joint that will fit the E-body upper A-arm, and a 74-78 C-Body spindle.  It is in essence a Moog K772 housing (e-body) fitted with a K778 stem (74-78 C-body spindle).

http://www.howeracing.com/p-7921-howe-22320-fits-k772.aspx

http://www.howeracing.com/p-7920-howe-22310-fits-k778.aspx

I will contact them to verify.
Update - 26-Jan-2016 Talked to Mike at Howe. They do not make a hybrid 772housing/778stem ball joint. I will either have to ream the 74-78 C-body spindle, or find a taper bushing insert to accept the K772 style ball joint stem.
