« on: November 22, 2004 - 10:51:14 PM »
Here's a supercharged 70  :dontknow: cuda but seems that the grill came from another year.   ::)  ::)  ::)  And whats with the vin #  ?? :dontknow:  ??

I don't know . . . I kinda think thats alittle pricey for that car!

Some of the work doesn't look too bad . . . anyone have any stories about this style supercharger??  Pros and cons of a supercharger??

the grill looks bad, what couldnt afford a 70 grill and the red tail panel, to cheap for a rally cluster, a tad expensive but its got lots of cash into it.   I vote no

Looks like a 1970 Cuda body (tail and side marker lights) with a 72 - 74 Cuda grille.  There's no way that can be the actual VIN for that vehicle; It doesn't conform to the standard VIN format. :ack:

Wouldn't want it unless it was about half of what he's asking. The tach on the hood? Hmm, if you have one out there I am sorry, it's tacky!

That V.I.N. is really messed up....That's all I can comment on at the moment.  I'm still trying to absorb the rest of the funky mods done to it.   As for that centrifugal supercharger under the hood, I never heard of that name.  Update: Desktop Dyno has that it's a Paxton Novi 2000.  Maybe if I read on in the description I would have seen that. lol.  Well, with the few things I punched in, it is making approximately 749 hp. with that particular supercharger installed.

the tach on hood is also a chrysler piece. Check ebay there are many old school hood mounted tachs for sale. i think they are rather neat, and add more of the muscle car feel to the cars chartcher

I bet the VIN is one of those state issued numbers in a re-title situation

I don't hate this car. It looks to me like someone had alot of extra parts lying around and pasted them
to this chassis

Cut out the missed matched roll bar, clean up the stereo"system" , loose the hood stripes, burn the
seats and put the no name turbo/blower thing back on the rice it came from.
Did I mention the rearend?  Hate the rearend :ack:

But someone might pay that price

paxton isn't no name. one of the best out there. sell whole kits to add to lots of cars.

depending on $, and what #'s i get, i would like to run a super charger. rather have turbo's, but plumbing them isn't fun. can get monster #'s from turbos, but can also turn the boost down and get "good" gas mileage. can't turn down a blower or a s-charger.

guy i knew back in vegas had twin turbo 64 vette. 454, mild build on the mill, but had over 1000hp when he cranked the turbo's up.

not a fan of the ricers, but you gotta respect the technology they are bringing in. 500hp out of a 4 popper. think what we can do with that tech.
besides, i have a ricer car. 91 stealth twin turbo awd (kind of a mopar). 350hp out of a totally stock 3.0 litre motor. all i did was add a $350 boost controller to bump it from 8lbs to 14.5 lbs. can go a lot further, but then you need more fuel, bigger turbos etc, but still nothing to the motor itself.

don't knock it till you've tried it.
