E Brake Release Handle Roll Pin Removal
« on: December 31, 2010 - 10:21:35 PM »
Yeah this is a bit lame, but I cannot figure for the life of me how to get the roll pin out of the E Brake Release handle on my E body.   It would be great if it didn't have to come out of the car to do.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Happy New Year Everyone!!

you could try supporting the handle with a socket & drive the roll pin onto the socket

That was a good idea.

I wound up making a press out of a c-clamp and a small hex drive socket.  It pushed it right out.
