I know of a '73 cuda 318 auto car sitting next to a barn where i hunt.  I'm thinking about dragging it home but would like to know if its worth it?  I know that  :worthless: so i will take some this weekend.  However, is there a high demand for 73's or should i pass and let it sit?  I'm a B body guy from D-C.com but i love all mopars and would hate to see it end up on cars-n-barns....

Pocket, take that thing home!!!  'Cudas are continuing to gain value, even the later '72-'74 model years.  (Especially the '74 cause they made so few of them.)  If you could get any photos of it or even a better description of the shape of the body, that would give us a solid answer as to what you should do.  Keep us updated if you do decide to jump on it.  If you don't go for it and you don't mind to tell the location or who the owner is, maybe someone else on the board could pursue it. :dontknow:

I'd say grab it up if you can, yeh, it may "only" be a 73 but the sought after 70's and 71's are pretty much $$$$$$$$$$$$ out of reach anymore unless you hit a lottery somewhere. And I did see a 73 at Carlisle last year (Challenger no less) , a full blown factory resto for sale, asking $20K+, a bit pricy, but they are coming along so to speak, if nothing else you could resell it easily, guys are looking all the time, but just can't find reasonable ones for sale. I know MoparMatt here has been looking for over a year to find something realistic $$$$$$$ wise.

thanks guys, i'd better pursue this one then.

This one is green, the hood has been off of it for over 10 years now.  The engine and trans are still in it, it has been sitting on the ground or close to it.  Its in the rust belt of Wisconsin.  I think the drivers door was taken off and leaned up next to the car.  but anyways, I'll try to take some pics this weekend for sure.

Ok guys and gals, here it is.  Its actually a 70 barracuda.  The engine was damaged due to a bad oil filter eary in its life time.  Fram paid for a replacement block.  Here are some pictures of it.  I should be dragging it home next Saturday if all goes well.  More details later as my spouse is barking at me to get to work on the honey doo list.... :(
