« on: January 07, 2011 - 10:38:52 PM »
At last after many hours/day/weeks/years on EBay I finally found the cruise control lever. the whole green column out of a 71 plymouth fury for 59.99 BIN You have to love EBay!!! Anyway does anybody here know how to disassemble one of these??? so I may clean up the connection inside.   Thanks Rob

Thought I'd throw in a couple of pics

Isn't the Cbody cruise control a longer lever even though it looks the same?

Challenger6pak: the lever I have seems to be about 3/4" shorter then a standard one.

What do you mean by standard one?  I was told there was a difference.  There may not be a difference.  I am just curious and wanting to learn more about an unusual Ebody option.   Thanks.

My question may not have been that clear.  I was under the impression that a Cbody cruise control lever was longer than the Ebody cruise control lever even though they had the same appearence.  One just used a longer shaft.

Challenger6pak I'm not sure if they are different in length or not? Maybe if Katfish would be so kind to take a measurement of his or anybody else for that matter with a factory cruise lever we may find out! Thanks

Mine measures 6" from the column to the end of the switch.  What is the std style length?

If I remember correctly the angle is different on the ebody than a cbody because of the crush can most likely.

I looked up the part numbers for the Cbody and the Ebody cruise control.  They are a different part number.
