Yikes Phil, you got more than we did . It was a mild winter here snow wise, just very cold. We only have about 2 feet on the ground now

I hear ya, I'm getting "itchy"  to take mine out for a rim too, although here they lay so much salt down the roads are all white with it. So we need a few really good rains after the snow all melts before the " nice" cars come out.  We have a black 2007 Suburban and you can only tell its black by the roof and part of the hood, the rest it white.  :eek4:

Got a nice 1/2 inch coating of ice on the Daytona. :bricks1:  it was under the over 10 inches of snow. So , I canceled my doctor and lawyer appointment this morning. And went back to bed. The roads were a mess .

Ice is nothing to mess with.  Snow I can deal with, ice is just uncontrollable.  I was in an ice situation in an '85 Honda civic and doing 25mph could break the tires loose with a tiny bit of gas.  That was when I was visiting Arkansas.

   :iagree: Me too!

Twice I faced disaster.

1. Sliding and my truck hanging over a cliff.
2. At the top of a steep road facing downhill full off ice.

I was once driving on a business trip in a rented Taurus coming into Souix Falls at night and slid off the highway doing about 30, gunned it through the side ditch and back up on the highway.  When I got to the hotel and opened the hood there was mud and sticks everywhere.

2 inches in Arkansas from what I understand is a lot and shuts down a lot of roads.

With 2 inches in Canada I think Brad is still wearing shorts!  :roflsmiley:
