Ha Ha I wish we just had a dusting This is what it looks like across my street at the neighbors house. The flood for casters are already crying a major flood again this spring. Normally the Red River is very low this time of the year. Right now it's almost at flood stage and running so fast it hasn't frozen up yet.

I know what it's like.....mine probably won't see the streets till April or May this year. Guess we will have to see what the spring brings.

Ken, with that much snow and only about 1/3 of the way through your winter season along with the river level you described Fargo may be moved north when this all melts and gets together. Dosen't sound good friend.  :walkaway:

Clown.....I heard on the news the you guys needed it.    :smilielol:    I understand from our weather channel you guys out east are gettig hammered like 2 ft at a time.    :wow:    We don't usually get that much at a time but rather it just snows every day. The inch here 3 ins there adds up.

Pete if you come this time put chains on your car!

You are right Jim. The city officials are already doing their emergency planning meetings trying to get ahead of it. In Winnipeg Canada they have a huge diversion for the river to go around the city. They haven't had any problems for years but now they are worried. A friend from there lives around 4 blocks for it and he said its water level is high. This time of the year it should be closer to empty but it's running so fast it hasn't frozen up either.  I don't think there is a town in the river basin that's not worried.  We are supposed to get another 3ins today. It just don't want to quit this winter.

We got about 7" of snow and then about 1/2" of ice on top of the snow. S-L-O-W-L-Y starting to melt. The roads have been unpassable for the last 3 days. We are finally getting around somewhat. The Cuda won't see any street duty for quite a while.  18" slicks and snow/ice don't go together very well....    :roflsmiley:   :roflsmiley:   :rebel:
