I got about a half inch of snow.  Temps at negative 15.
Wind chill is somewhere around negative 30.  Here in Salida.

I am headed to work up on Cottonwood pass, there should be a few inch's of snow there but I be the negative degrees there is well below where I am here.
Probably around negative 20.  Plus windchill drops.
This makes bow hunting Mountain lions much easier.

Funny pictures Devil! ;D  I love it! :2thumbs:
Around here the new houses are so crammed together that they have no where to put the snow.( we live in a known snowbelt) :screwy: The snow banks are about 5 feet tall in those neighbourhoods.
We got 8-10 inches today and they are calling for about the same again tonight!
 :2thumbs:   Money in the bank for me! :2thumbs: ( I  have a business that repairs snowblowers/lawnmowers. )

I was sort of happy yesterday at this time knowing I had a snow day the next day.  But it was not much fun, my only snowblower is a little Toro S200 that is not much help with snow this deep.  So I had to shovel everything by hand.  To make matters worse, I have a hedge on one side of my driveway and the house on the other, so I was having to toss snow over the hedge.  Not easy on the back!
I would work for a while, come in and relax for a bit, then head back out to shovel more. Started at 9 am and called it a day around 5.  I still haven't cleared my truck off or around it, there are 4' drifts in front of my garage so I haven't tried to clean up to my garage yet, maybe I'll wait for it to melt ......in 3 or 4 months!
I need a bigger snowblower, I just need a place to keep it, my garage is full of Challengers!

My drive home from work yesterday took about an hour and 45 minutes, usually it takes 45-50 minutes.
But I shouldn't complain, these 200 cars got trapped on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago and people were stuck in their cars for hours until the fire department came out and rescued them with snowmobiles, they are still cleaning up now, towing the cars off to a storage lot until they can be reunited with their owners.

My friend was lucky on the LSD, he got on and saw what the hell was going on, and was able to get off the on-ramp.

I just finished 26 hours of straight plowing. I live on the edge of the escarpment (where the glaciers that melted to form the great lakes stopped pushing the earth) and the snow varied from 12"-30"s of snow depending if you were on top or below. Its beautiful out today, the big ole Texan storm was lucrative for this Canuck.

Earlier this week we had the worst snow in about 30 years! I had to dig a path to my truck just to get to it. (shoulder still NOT good). Although my truck was not buried the alley had drifts high as the hood. There was only one solution... bring my BIG loader home from the shop. Took well oer an hour to drive it into my nieghborhood. Had to wade through the drifts at the shop just to get it out... http://s672.photobucket.com/albums/vv82/BIGSHCLUNK/SNOW/

We got piles as high as my loader would dump!!

I live a mile from the beach. It was warm enough here that I sprayed Raptor bedliner in the floor of my son's 65 Nova, and Polyprime on the quarters of my 69 Dart.
