Got snow?

We are right now over 150% for the year for snow in the Sierras. It's still snowing.
Hasn't been this much since 1970.

The Sierras provide all the water for the Agriculture and Salmon fisheries. For the last 10 years, farmers and fisheries have been battling for rights for water %.

They shouldn't have anymore fights for a while.
L.A. takes most of our water from us every year.

  Well our begining to spring was nice while it lasted (about 4 days), we had highs in the  mid to upper 60's, one day it even hit 72, and lows around 40. Now for the last 3 days highs have been in the low to mid 30's and lows of 15 to 18.     Good ole Ohio weather thanks to some cold Canadian air from the north west.

I certainly hope that the snow I drove through yesterday was winters last gasp. I am ready to get the challenger out on the road.  Come on Spring!!

Snowed here this past Wed.night but is gone now but is still freezing cold.Made it into the 30s yesterday with some wind and expecting more of the same today.

Pretty snapping cold here too. Next week forcast is all above freezing.....I think the worst is behind us now!

We got 10" last Wednesday, broke the 'blower and still have got 6 of it and the temp is staying below freezing. If I wasn't an old Bruce County boy, I'd have been surprised. Keep the faith boys, it won't seem long until we're pi$$ing about how HOT it is!

I hate to be the one to keep this thread going but we are suppose to get up to 1 foot of snow in the next 24 hrs. This sucks so bad.

   That just sucks! No wonder Neil wants out of there! I was working on the Challenger today in a t-shirt  it was +10C here today.

Fargo N.D. was just voted the harshest place in the U.S. 48 to live in.

Truckee CA can hold a candle many times to it during the year. Super cold valley in the Winter.

Well it was true , we got well over a foot of snow yesterday , I measured closer to 16" , I had to shovel 3 times yesterday .
 it started to melt today at least but I know we will still be getting snow near the end of may or into june same as every year good thing I will not be here any longer at least

More snow last night!    Just covered the grass, should be gone as it warms up some today.
Enough already!   I'm getting sick of lighting the woodstove!
