but I see you have a craftsman decal in your window!
I like sears myself. Own a lot of craftsman tools. Too bad they probably wont be around much longer. They were a great company that dominated first the catalog and then the retail business (after ww2) but guess they havent been able to compete in the 21st century. Their marketing scheme just isnt that popular anymore.
I like Sears too but it is sad that they may not be around much longer. They have huge stores in malls that take up a lot of retail space and most of the kids now a days have their little trends going, buying clothes from specialty shops. No hard evidence but I think most people buying clothes there are older folks.
I do like Craftsman tool though. Always fun browsing there. Easy to return broken hand tools. I always buy Diehard batteries. I should look into other brands as it's a hike to get to a Sears auto center and places like Autozone are much closer.
When I went to auto mechanic school my first set of tools were Snap On. Boy, try returning a lifetime warranty screwdriver to a Snap On dealer that you didn't buy it from. Still have the Snap On flat head screwdriver I broke like 20 years ago. No one would trade it in for me unless you were a regular customer of the guy.
