We certainly have snow here in Michigan now!   More snow than we have had in 10 years!   :eek4:

We got maybe 5 inches of snow in the last 36 hours but it's now just rain. Funny how the deep south is getting super cold weather and here in the north we are getting warm weather.

Same here!  The foot of snow we got last week is mostly gone!  I can see grass again!

Send some snow our way. The Lakes will be empty all over the state this Summer.

Snow tire chain installers make big money out here when it's blowing hard.

Yes , somewhat, schools are all closed again today. My 3 boys are rejoicing!  Clear skies and sunny at the moment though?  :clueless:  It's -20C or so not as bad as last week. Busy day for me today.  :grinyes:

Just lost power this morning at 6AM.  I'm running on a generator, 2 space heaters, a fan forced wood stove. I've got my laptops, slingboxTV, DSL and routers all on the generator and battery backups. 60% of my zip code area is down and no answer as to when it will be back up? -6 degrees F right now.

Good thing that I bought a generator after that time when the whole grid went down for 5 days. How the hell would you keep your pipes from freezing if you aren't prepared?

Now I need to stock up with gas since all of the local stations are out of power too.
