Compairing AMD vs Goodmark.  Both are one piece with the holes.

I guess I don't understand the question. They are two different companies with their own pricing.
If you're asking how the higher priced company can justify the difference, then call them.
I'm sure people here would be interested in the answer that you get.

Joe, I'm just in the process of changing the trunk floor in my Challenger and my research indicates that the AMD panel is believed thicker and is more accurately stamped with all the correct holes and impressions as the oem one, hence more money. It fit very well, but the wheel houses are proving to be another matter! I can't comment on the other suppliers stuff.

pricing difference between goodmark and AMD. Goodmark is liquidating there over stock and selling it off at a low price. Not all of the parts are marked down, Not sure if they are phasing out there mopar line or not,

i do but i dont. I have seen some pieces thicker but not all. You will find irregularities in both, one will fit good the other wont and vise versa. Both have QC issues, all depends on what your wallet is saying and what/who are you listing to and i like to use the phrase of picking fly **** out of pepper between the two MFG's

I just finished installing a one piece AMD pan. These are my thoughts.

Fit-pretty good/great. The area at the back at the bumper support where the frame has the bumper support tapered brackets was a little high compared to the frame rails. This could be specific to my build since I mini-tubbed the car and had to alter the pan to fit around the stretched wheel tubs.

Thickness-yes AMD is thick. I though this was a quality feature! Thick is good in my opinion!

Overall-great

If I did it again I would buy the two piece instead of one piece. I am not doing a numbers matching type resto. Mine is a full pro-touring modification build so I wouldn't care about the seam. It will be covered in DynaMat and other items. The 1-piece is a pain to get in and if I didn't have a quarter removed I'm not sure I could have gotten it into my car. It was a PAIN!

Do not plan on putting a 1-piece in without a little cussing and beer drinking

Joe, further developments. I called AMD about the whlhse fit and was quickly told to call Craig at their restoration shop. Craig is a knowledgeable guy and he told me that the AMD whlhses were stamped from 18ga. versus the oem 20 or 22ga. Now thicker sounds nicer, until you realize that the same thickness makes the part nearly inflexible and since AMD tells me that their parts are "not a perfect match" and that you'll have to "massage" them to get them in, the bloom comes off the lily pretty quick. Craig suggests clamping the inr 1/2 in the opening and trying to mate it to the floor and trunk extension and then clamping the otr one in and hanging the 1/4 while trying to unclamp and position as well as possible the same otr 1/2! Fun? Wow! Looks like some butchery is in my future. I'll let you know how it goes. The Goodmark part might be easier to fit due to it's very thinness/flexability.

they tried to stamp the door skins in a thicker steel as well and had issues. MAybe there is a reason why the factory parts were a certain gauge.
