Thanks very much for all the replys. If I remember correctly its original color is Gold Leaf Metalic (paint was not in that nice in places)with Black Standard Interior. Some other options that I remember are:
Shaker Package
Tinted Glass
4 speed
Rally Gauges
Console
Light Group
Front and Rear Spoilers
...at the time, I remember the original window sticker had been laminated, but it was the real thing.

Many thanks to everyone, please keep the information coming.

Would anyone happen to know Derek Powell. I found a picture on the Hamtramck Registry of his car and it looked very similar to the one I used to own.

Thanks in advance,

Nice Ride. I have been down that road. Wishing I never sold my 57 Belair HT.  :banghead:
Noticed your pic shows spoilers.
The other pic posted has red battery caps, no spoilers.

Still Looking for my old car.
No luck so far, but I am not giving up yet.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thought Derek Powell might have owned it at one time, but I was wrong.

Oh...by the way. I found this picture on the Hamtramck Registry.
The picture had the title "Derek and Mike's 71 Cuda".
Anyone know who Mike is?

Thanks,
Will Landers

I know how hard it can be to hold on to your old cars.   My 1971 'Cuda was my high school car.   I bought it back in 1984.  I rented a storage unit with cement floors for 15 years straight while I was in college and getting my career going.   It was tough at times.

I really hope that you find your baby.

Wow. Looks like the same car. Down to the spoilers, chrome mirrors and hood pins!

Did yours have the louvers on back window too?

Will,

Just to be clear, did you run this by Barry Washington with the Hamtamck Registry?  He has a lot of info and search options.

Now anyone doing a VIN search on this car will come up with this post, so who knows----- just another possibility for locating it.

Didn't think I liked Gold, but I guess I do!

ps: your 1988 photo would have looked great on our calendar!

Hello challengermaniac/ Charlie,

Thanks for the tip, that is an excellent idea.
I will send the email tomorrow and see if I can get lucky.

Thanks again,

On the back window, or the fenders ?
