starter relay pic

Hello! I am looking for a pic of a starter relay on a car with the wires connected with a manual transmission. I need to know which one I need to ground for the clutch and I want to make sure where the other wires go.

I dont have a pic, but it should be a straight male spade connector on the relay. There will be a large stud, small bolt, "ign" spade and the ground for the relay for either a neutral safety switch (auto) or clutch switch (manual). I believe it will be on the left side of the relay looking down at it from the drivers fender.

on mine if you have the relay in your hand looking at the face of it the wire goes on the top left spade,,at least mine does

Cool! Thanks! I'll take a pic when I am finished to confirm. So all I need to do is run the wire with a female spade connector from the starter relay to the inner fender somewhere?

runs to the clutch switch at the pedal,,and the relay will have a g stamped on it to confirm were it goes on the relay if you can get close enough to read it

I'm actually going to bypass it because I don't have the clutch switch. I'm not sure why they are so expensive.

Just be sure you are the only one that will be starting it!

Brewers is the only ones reconditioning them, No one else . you could rig up other style of switch. it is just a grounding issue

I will eventually set this up, but I was going to ground it for now so I can get it started. That would be my luck to hit the key and run into something or someone.

Here is the Pic of mine. I take it the top left spade is the ground for the clutch? Does the yellow connector on the headlight harness connect to the top right spade? The gray wire is connected tot he starter. Is that correct?

Most cars in the UK are manual trans. and I've never seen one with a clutch safety switch.  You just get in the habit of checking it's in neutral, and it's not too easy to start a manual in gear anyway.

99% of european cars dont have it, so from the day 1 everyone knows to start the car with the clutch depressed. of course **** happens

When I worked at aa car dealer years ago, there was a used car trade in that had a manual tranmission and a remote starter installed. 

The car wash kid hit the auto start button on the remote, the car was in gear and nailed the car in front of it.    Good thing no one got hurt.
