I know this topic is quite old but I have a t-handle shifter in mine. Is it basically the same idea as far as taking it off to place the resto Rick handle on?

Scratch that, I found where I can order 72-74 on his website.... Problem is I have the 70 style, which the rod is different. Can I dremel it to fit?

How do I say this without sounding like an idiot ...

A couple of members let me ....

Wow ... guess I will have to go for it...

try out their shifters at Carlisle ...

I tried both trigger styles and the most comfortable was the Gunslinger
I like the looks of the Auto better esp the cant of the grip.
as much as the push-down style looks "more real" I just don't like to push down to shift.

Who here has the auto with the boot that looked like a 4-speed (that was pretty good looking in person)
The best I have found is Steve / Quapman or the Gunslinger units

The 70 shifter with the round ball is a totally different set up , you will need a shifter designed for that

Damn I was hoping you wouldn't say that, as I bought it off of the forums for a good deal.

Bought a used "Harms" shifter for my 73 Cuda Automatic.  Which boot is the best one to use to hide the OEM console shift pattern?
