What is the give away to you? It's hard for me to tell because the edges look squared off like cast does.

Yeah, I'm thinking forged too after seeing the rounded edge at top.

exactly , the leading face of the counterweight are rounded & the sides of the counterweights are machined , the casting can be made more accurately with squared edges everywhere
