    Trans Cross Member - E- Brake Cable pics wanted

    I am currently repairing / customizing my transmission crossmember. Does anyone have any photos of how the emergency brake cable passes through? Any help would be truly appreciated.  :cheers: This is the area I'm referring to.

    Mike - what year is your car?  I know the early cars had one cable to rear axle, the newer cars had two cables.  Here is one photo of the newer style, I can take some closeups of your area if no one chimes in.

    Thanks a bunch for the reply Phil. Im looking for where it passes through the trans crossmember. Mines about gone there, and I want to know how it goes through and if it attaches by a clip thingy or what.  :cheers:

    73cuda , has looped cable to the rear, but here's where it goes thru the mt.
