Let me know too, I want to replace them on my project, 1 is busted and the other didnt break but it would be best to replace both since we know the other is not far behind and I only want to do this once lol.
I did finally check my supplier for the rust proofing and the only thing I could get from them on the rust proofing wax is called rust proofing. I think she was a little too busy to go look it up for me. Best way to do it is to phone your local body shop supplier and ask for rust proofing spray, its black and has a wicked smell that most people dont like (Im so far the only one who seems to like the smell of ours, but Im old school and never used masks or gloves for most of my carreer and got used to many things that now we think is stupid to expose ourselves too. (I now use the gloves and masks, got a little (just a little) smarter over the past decade or so.
The rust proofing is not to be confused for a rust converter etc... its suppose to be sprayed inside your doors, rockers, frame rails etc... where you dont want rust to show up after your restoration is done and you spray it once a year a so for good measure on areas exposed to moisture (frame rails and rockers, inner door panels, trunk floor to quarter panel drops, behind the front fender areas. Anywhere it is prone to rust on these models and your vehicle will last longer then you will.
