Before going on the MATS 1500 mile trip I HAD to replace my seats. There is no way I'd make it on the originals.
Being on a budget I decided to find something at the local junk yard... these fit the bill:
'97 Dodge Avenger SE
1. comfortable
2. manually adjustable on many axis
3. inexpensive ($70 for the pair)
4. no rips/tares
5. look good
The first leg to Tucson was over 8 hours of driving. I felt great sitting on these seats the entire way. Goal achieved!
Here are the seats... there is a lumbar adjustment but I need to make a handle to help use it.
The seat covers are very dark black but the camera makes them look kind of grey/black. They look better in person.
