    Man am I jealous! Not so much about the car, well maybe a little, rather that your kid looks like he's really into it. One of the best parts of the hobby/way of life is passing it on. Well done!

    Thanks!  I'll be honest though, it's a hit & miss kind of thing.  I'm competing with his online buddies lobbing grenades at each other...  tough sell.   :roflsmiley:

    Wanted to adjust my brake light switch (was coming on too late) but nothing seems to "adjust".  I found a hard washer (orange) to back the switch away from the plate.  Seems to work.  Does this setup look stock?

    The blue wires were not connected to anything.  Should they be?





    My stock 15" wheel was just too big after I put the Avenger seats in the car, so I tried out a few Grant steering wheels (that felt crappy) and found one I really like.  The yellow notch will go with the color scheme.

    This is the Grant 1075 with the 5318 adapter.  It feels great!

    Worked on my passenger window...  I could swear there were bolts holding this down before...


    Had to replace a missing nut.  Can't find a good way to tighten this down while the window is in the door.  :(

    On the brake light switch, the one on my 72 looks a lot different.  For one thing the bracket is slotted to allow you to adjust the distance to the brake pedal thereby setting how slow or fast the brake lights come on. 

    On the window, is it currently in the up position?  When the window is up, you only need to get to the one nut on the top of the rear slider.  After that roll the window down and you can get to all the other bolts in the down position.  There should be a hole in the lower part of the door that will allow you to get to that bolt.  I posted a bunch of pics in this thread:

    Finaly resurrected the AAR hood I bought last year...  I won't say restore because this baby came back from the dead.
    This is phase 1... still more tweeking to do but the major work is done.  More details to follow...

    I love the overall look the Fish has evolved to.  I think I'm done with the major exterior changes...  might change the wheels someday but we'll see.
    Right now I need to find a metal guy to fix my banged up driver door.

    The wheels are Weld draglites.

    The latches are from Aerocatch.  Bought them on Amazon...  really nice quality pieces.
