Started upgrading Challenger
« on: January 30, 2011 - 01:38:50 AM »
Well I have had my new Challenger 2 weeks and have already started adding items. First was to order some parts and I started with a new dales cuda shop go wing, new Challenger fender emblems, mopar molded splash guards, and Chrome fuels filler door. I have not decided which stripes to go with so I have not ordered them yet but hope to this weekend. Here are some pictures with the emblems installed, splash guards installed and some of the go wing including some of the installation. It was not much fun drilling holes in a new trunk lid and the template that came with the kit was for 2008-2009 models and the trunk lid changed for 2010 so I had to take lots of measurements so 4 hours later I got it installed with the help of my 18 year old son. The chrome fuel filler door has not came and will be the next thing put on the Challenger.

Well my chrome gas cap door came and I couldn't wait to put it on. I really like the looks of the chrome gas cap door on the Challenger and I'll let you tell me what you think.

I got my gas struts for the hood and got them installed as I never liked the prop rod for holding the hood up. I have not decided on my stripes yet but hope to and get them installed soon. Here is a picture of the hood strut.
