Sucks about the few dramas. At least she's now safe & sound tucked in at home.

How's the body? Rust wise?

That was my biggest concern buying a car I hadn't seen. Despite the hundreds of pictures and awesome inspection report, I was always worried the body might be worse than expected. Fortunately I was wrong.

Sucks to say, and they really are things you shouldn't have to deal with - but you're better of with a dodgy transmission and a few missing trim pieces than unexpected rusted floors & frame rot.

Oh ... and since this thread is a couple pages deep, it's about time we got some fresh pics mate!  :cooldancing:

Yeah as far as rust goes its pretty good...Has some dodgy body work on the rear that im not happy about as I was told it was accident free and its clearly not.
So yes it could be worse but it still leaves me a little upset with the outcome . :'(
But saying that all in all it a good car to work from and should be a beautiful car once she is sorted
so as you can see I have mixed emotions  :pullinghair: :cooldancing: :pullinghair: :cooldancing:
I will post new pics once it stops raining here
but thanks all for all the kind words and support :working:

Problem is "accident free" is interpreted differently by people. Some think an accident is only when 2 or more cars have a crash - and don't think the bodywork someone did after they reversed it into their garage wall or something is worth noting.

Where did you get the car from? Dealer or private?

I think you should post who was the agent involved, there are others in Australia who will want to be made aware of anyone who miss represents reports. Fortunately there are only a couple of bad eggs doing this but others need to made aware of them. If an honest report on the car was done then at least you could have made a better decision and not had this heartache upon receiving the car.

Sad to hear the condition it was delivered in.
Sad to hear of others' similar experiences.
I must be lucky.
All mine have turned up in as good if not better order than expected.
Burnouts are cool but Traction is the Action

Well it looks like they are trying to pass the buck and not going to help me out at all
So if I dont hear anything in a few days  I will be posting a few names of who I got this from
to help others avoid the same problems.

Well I will say to everyone dont buy a car from
ROSE MOTORSPORTS
JUST MUSCLE CARS
2323 Bruner Lane Ft. Myers FL 33912

or
MIKE at MOTOR MENTOR a online sales broker
they were fantastic to deal with at the start of the transaction
but once they had the cash it all changed.
I received the car with a stuffed trans a stuffed power steering box and missing parts  .
The car will need a full front end steering rebuild .
I guess that is normal but at the same time I was told it was in A1 condition all round and drove beautiful
so I think its only fair I would expect it to be driveable
It was claimed to be a numbers matching car and it isn't
At some stage of its life it has had damage to the rear tail light panel that has been bogged/bondo
really poorly and I am now fixing as well. (one hit with the hammer and all the Bondo/Bog fell out)
Was also told the body has no damage at any stage of its life
They have made no attempt to help at all .
Sent me a few nice emails with long winded reasons and totally looking to pass the buck.
I am really upset by the deal and have lost a little of the excitement for the car at the moment.
I hope this will help others from making the same mistake and people will think twice about buying
from these businesses

Also I would like to say a big thank you  to forum member
John A
when I posted that I needed a set of tail light rings because mne were stolen from the car in transit
he was so kind to offer me a full set ,when asked what he wanted for them
he only wanted the price of post.
Puts a bit of faith back in to the whole deal
Thanks again John

That's a bloody shame mate. Sorry to hear.

Good that you have put a name to the problem though. That seller has a lot of cars offered on eBay aimed at Australian buyers. Always see them asked about on forums. This info should help others make a better decision.

All the best.
