Plug Wire routing
« on: February 03, 2011 - 12:52:50 AM »
Not sure if this belongs in this section but I looking for pictures of how I can rout my plug wires on my 340 for a nice clean look with headers. Thanks

Are you looking for a fancy hold down system or what looks clean?
I used MSD pre-made wires on mine with some parts store separaters.

Tom,
Where is you coil??? looks like I see the wire hanging. Did you use the stock location on the intake? just wondering if you did something diff. I have the M1 which has no provisions for a coil mount.

Justin,
A tip I recently heard was to use sb Ford wire set, it has 90* on the distributor end for a cleaner look.

Thanks, Gary

Hey Mr.340
I mounted it vertically using the rear bolt hole, most aftermarket coils want to be mounted this way.

Tom

Just bent up a piece of metal in the vise and drilled a couple holes and rounded it off a bit.
