It is getting bad all over, Queensland (up north) is soaked and now my state Victoria (down south) is having massive heavy rain which is flooding all low lying areas. A picture at a train station the other night showed a river half way up to the top of the platform and the train still moving. I am very high up so only affected by water run off, I had my drive graded and dressed last Wednesday (130 yards long) and now most of it is on the road, my house is supposed to be put up for sale this week, will have to do it again. I cannot complain as many have lost everything. And now the fires in West Australia fanned by high winds, started by sparks from a grinding wheel. Keep in mind we are in the middle of our summer.
Ken, nqkjw, in Townsville put some of his earth moving equipment in front of his shed to protect his cars, he was close to the cyclone.
