Challenger I saw yesterday
« on: February 09, 2011 - 10:18:42 PM »
Very rust free. Looks like its been sitting there a long time.
I bet it ends up on the East coast or Europe in a few years.

That's where all the CA. Mopars are now. Because it's so expensive out here to live.

Do you know if it's for sale? Very nice car could be a great start!

So cool to see one that still has the flat hood.

Was it a 318 car or a 383 2 barrel?

I asked the guy there but the owner wasn't there. The guy asked me what do you think it's worth?

I said 10-12 since its a good solid project to start with. I remember where its at. This car was very well hidden. Looks like original paint on it.

Pretty sure it was a 318 but I never asked.

Speaking on behalf of the East coast we would gladly take it off your hands! Back off Europe we called dibs first!

If I cruise by there again on my route, I'll stop by and ask again.

If they all had stayed out here, Carlisle Mopar show wouldn't exist.

Here's another doomed Mopar.

This one is right near me. It's been sitting there for about 17 years just like it is. I wished he would at least cover it up better.

Many a person has asked him if he will sell it and went home empty handed. I even offered to do the metal work and bodywork for a reasonable price. No seems to be his favorite word regarding this car.

I don't think it will be long before he must sell it. He's been in bad health the last time I spoke with him. But who knows...Only him and his beer.
