I have a 71 barracuda 318 3-spd. fixed rear windows. my fender tag looks like a titanic artifact so I cannot read it. I wondered about the cuda version of the deputy, mine does have a buldge hood though(original paint on it) and not much of any other option except orange seats, everything else is black inside.

Turn the tag over and put a sheet of white paper over it. Then use a pencil and lightly scrape across the paper over the tag, you will have a better chance of finding out what the tag codes are. Let me know what you find!

Same thing I was gonna say.  Try the back side.
If that doesn't work, I have taken pictures and adjusted colors, brightness, contrast, etc. to come up with what some of the numbers are.
I am curious to know what your tag says.
Orange seats?  new one to me if the rest of the interior is black.
Very curious.

There was one like it for sale here a few years ago, it seems like a photo of the tag was posted? I remember the A93, J54 & orange interior. I am sure I saved the image, if you mention the last six numbers of the VIN I can see if it is the same one.

mine was also a "deputy" 71 A93 318 cuda.
Originally had the fixed rear windows but now are all power windows.
I would bet that most of those cars have been modded by now.

Cannot read sh*t on the fender tag. The only legible parts are EV2 and the vin.  I guess thats enough to prove its color but nothing else ,as the mice have the insides of the backseat nasty and build sheett looks like a 1,000 piece puzzle
