My vote for the rarest single option would be the rear shoulder belts.

I also remember seeing a picture of a trunk mounted cigarette lighter.  I don't know if that was part of another package or an option by itself though.  I think it was mounted in the torsion spring bracket that is on the inner wheel well.

Possibly, but I have NEVER seen this:

'70 318-auto Chally 'vert
'71 383-auto 'Cuda 'vert (sold)
06 300c SRT8
04 2500 QCLB 4x4 HO

   Love that commercial!  :2thumbs:
I think the speed gate racing shifter and the slap stick shifter are one in the same? :dunno:

I think so too.  For some reason, I'm drawing a blank on what it was called early on in 1970.  I don't think the shift indicator lense said anything at the start of production.  Then, it said "shift gate" or something like that before the name "slapstick" was used.

I'll agree with that.  Someone once posted a picture of a convertible's fender tag that had that option, that is the only one I've ever even heard of!

On the rear seat shoulder belts; I checked with Barry Washington awhile back and in his registry of e-bodies he had 3 cars listed with them.  He has never seen a car so equipped however. A bit of hearsay--I heard that Galen says that it broke down like this: R/T-14, R/T SE-15 and SE-6 for a total of 35.  All I keep hearing is that it seems no one has actually seen one.  Any one on this site actually  seen any?  PK

Dont know about rare but seldom scene may be more like it. Light delay system.

My 1970 Gran Coupe Convertible has the light delay system.
Also, has the seat belt warning light.
The biltsheet also has a locking gas cap.
 I located one on ebay.
Anyone have  Speed control (Cruise Control)was available also that is rare.

I had it but I sold it for other parts , I did not want it and i sold the 3 on the tree column with the cruise control signal arm. Bought and had restored a 4-speed column. I have the light delay also or at least I did before the new cluster harness was installed.

Well in 71 they only made 200 cars with billboards mine is one of them. That is a rare option in my view.

I am unsure where you got your info because that's not true at all. I can tell you with 99% certainty that they made over 1,000 'Cudas with Billboards. In a few days I'll be home and will be able to supply numbers.

Additionally, I do believe two-tone cars to be rare. I know about 100 'Cudas (not Barracudas, not Gran Coupes, but 'Cudas) were two-tone. Certainly a couple hundred more were base Challengers (looked it up - 762 for US-spec cars), but how many T/As? Barry doesn't know the number because that number doesn't exist, but the number "3" is probably what he has in his registry.

I have seen this option and my convertible has it.  Until recently I had always thought someone just put them there.

It's not a factory option.

I'm pretty sure I saw a post on Moparts about it a few years ago.   I could be mistaken.
