There was a 1970 Gran Coupe at the Fall Daytona show a few years back that had P45 - Power Trunk Release listed on it's build sheet.

Here's my 2 cents:  A35 - Trailer Towing Package.
I once saw a Barracuda in a field with a trailer hitch and some kind of round electrical connector in the tailight panel. I do remember seeing that horseshoe type bracket on the car that's in the e-bay ad.

Do you think the one in the auction is a factory hitch or just a period correct one?   :clueless:

I have to look at mine because I wonder if mine is a factory one or if it says "U-haul" on it somewhere...  :roflsmiley:  The original owner put it on, from the 70's.  Not sure if it was from the dealer or elsewhere.

Will there be a Pentastar/ factory part # on it I assume?  Or did the dealers use an aftermarket company for the hitch?  :dunno:

I'm just guessing here but I would think that the hitch would have been dealer installed.  Maybe the assembly was put in the trunk at the factory but the dealer accually installed it.  I can't see the line workers taking the time to install that.  I mean they didn't even install the hub caps or trim rings...those were all shipped loose in the trunk for the dealer to install.  Even the T/A and AAR front spoilers were shipped loose in the trunk.

I thought that was a Buick/Oldsmobile only option....  :roflsmiley:

To go back to the 'Cuda Billboard numbers, I show that out of all the US-spec cars, 32.1% had this option. This is over 1800 units - well above the 200 claimed.

Yeah, I would like to see some of those number charts you have Diego.

So, the A18 is for the 70- 71 coronet custom 4 door sedan.

I do believe that is the only car that got that treatment.  Not sure what all was in that option but only one car apparently.

Well, it's a list from GG. I'm guessing I can't post a jpeg here, but I can list stuff if I type it.

Diego, Pmed.

I don't want to hijack the thread.

Who's got another rare option?

Is that technically an option? Thought it was standard equipment.
