The B6Y3 seats shown above have cloth inserts that aren't original.  B6Y3 are full vinyl seats. It was common for the seat surfaces to rip and split and were often replaced with cloth for durability and I'd assume comfort.

Would love to see what you have left over from your old interior. :2thumbs:

I don't have even one piece of my original interior anymore.

What tells you that it has an insert?

That dash was definitely darker than original.  Lots of dirt and years of sun.

The seats were very light, almost white.  Probably not the originals.
Although they did match the rear.
Hey Josh, i hit the wrong icon as i was posing from my phone......... I meant by the pictures it has an insert and by the tag it does not, Same as Ken Kissalien stated :2thumbs:

You can really tell that the dash you posted is filthy, it would be much lighter if cleaned. The seat color is a bit creamier than white, it would have a bit of fade, but you can still see a gold sandy tinge to the seats.

I don't have even one piece of my original interior anymore.
Do you have any pictures of the car when you bought it Mike ?
Maybe you have some shots of the interior from way back when you bought it buddy ? That would be cool if you could dig them out ? PLEASE. . . . . . . . . . . . .  :dogpile:

Hey Mike, i found this link. http://www.bbodyregistry.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1929&p=16839 have a look at the Tawny Gold GTX with Gold interior, that would be a good reference to look at for the color of the trim. :2thumbs:

You can picture the P6 gold interior that you had originally working so well with the B2 Blue exterior in fact. If it was me, i would do a B5 dash and carpet, and color dye the rest of your door panels in the Gold and order the Gran Coupe seat covers in the original P6 Gold also, it would tie the whole lot together that way, the products of today will penetrate in to your Black plastic and hold up when colored in the Gold, just talk to some paint shops who specialize in painting plastic parts, nearly all paint shops as half of a new car is plastic these days, but better yet would be to go to a Paint Shop or talk to a Paint Representative about the best product to use to get the best result with color dying the door panels.

What do you think of that idea Mike, would be a nice color combo for real.

I've never seen dyed panels look authentic.

I'll probably start doing a black interior to start with. Later on I may consider changing it IF I can find real nice beige parts.

I have a 73 Challenger with some neat options.  Don't know if they are rare, but it has Discs, AM/FM, Monaco 500 Ornamentation Package (and C for Canadian).

What exactly is the Monaco 500 package?

Thank you!

Isn't A57 the Rallye package for 72+ challengers?

It's the Rallye package (gauges etc), but that's strange they would name it 'Monaco 500'?

I got the Monaco 500 Ornamentation package from a fender tag decoder site...
