« on: February 12, 2011 - 11:20:01 PM »
im in the process of painting my 73 cuda two tone black and gray/gunmetal.  I need opinions. Should i do black on the top or on the bottom? I havent seen many with the bottom painted black online. a red pinstripe is gonna be where the two colors meet

thanks for the help

I would ask Arron Beck to photo shop it for you.

Then you can see the differences and decide.

Ha!  I'm thinking the same way you are alpha!  I am considering black matt on the top...  looks good and keeps the glare down.  Was going with a different grey but similar...  I think Topcat is right...  Arron is really talented... was going to consult him once I had my ideas nailed down.  My end up being the same picture.  :)

Guys like Foose always put the darker color on top. There`s some "artfull" reason it makes the vehicle look better.
