Another update: It's been about eight months since our car's unfortunate encounter with a truck on the freeway. I've been fitting and sanding with the help and encouragement of 4speedFish (I call him Bob). The car just got back from the painter, although he's going to cut and polish it when I get the trunk lid and hood back on. Although I have freshly painted parts on the living room floor, it feels good to be actually putting things back on the car and throwing away the little labelled baggies as I go.
Sunday I masked and painted the tail panel with the Organisol spray from TotallyAuto (just like I did the first time four year ago) and put the taillights in for real, although I think I'll take one out temporarily until we get the trunk lock in and working.
