I like the new updated look of the forum. To help the thread stand out in the sections, I agree with "hood" make the Thread Title bold. I would reduce the font size and make it black, that will make it stand out, then reduce the size of the font used for "Started by" and change that to the all blue color. It looks run together because of not enough space between titles, by reducing the font size that will help or you could make the thread area wider.  The orange color looks great because warm colors come forward on the blue background, the blue color is too similar to the background and so there is not enough contrast to make it easy to read.

Ross.  Maybe you can alternate the backgrounds on the index pages.  Here is an example from my local newspaper of what I am trying to say.  I like the new look.  Thanks.
Tod

P.S.  Should it say clean or clear Attachment beside the attach line?

I keep getting this message also.

ill keep making adjustments as time goes on.  theres a lot of user submitted themes for this forum software done by people with both more time and skill than i have.  i might try some of those on for size to see how they work for us.  there wont be dramatic changes, as ill try to stick with the shades of grey and blue that we've always used, but ive seen some that are more in line with the requests of you guys, so ill probably give one or two of those a go tonight.

We cannot stand still but some of the writing is hard to read at first glance. Somebody suggested a few years ago about using the Chrysler symbol for our ranking, I think thats the right word, at the moment we now have colored squares? keep up the good work.   :2thumbs:

I like the new look, but I agree the topics are a little hard to read.  Maybe reducing the font of second line (Started by ...) would help.

Thanks for working on it!

On another car forum I belong to, when you run your cursor over the the particular topic the first two sentences written by the OP appears.  It gives you a quick preview of what he is posting.  Very helpful in determining if the subject is something you are really interested in, especially if your internet connection is slow that day and it takes forever to load each subject.   :2thumbs:

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.
