I thought my computer was screwed up or something for a few minutes? 
What about when the topics are listed if the section is in a different colour from the post title  or in a heavier font? I find it a little hard to read too? Seems harder to quickly get the info you want?

i can tweak colors, but im not 100% sure i follow what youre getting at here, but maybe i do.  ill see in the next few days about changing some colors around.

for those saying its hard to read, try to articulate exactly how, and if its a matter of switching colors i can probably help.  make suggestions as to what colors you think would make it easier and i can see what i can do.

I would have to agree its harder to read. As far as why, I think it has to do with the color of the text, as well as a change in the font and size. The old font had a heavier line quality (almost like a "bold" version of the current type), so it stood out from the background colors better.

If the thread headings were one size bigger, and the color of the font changed to black for the headings, I think it would help quite a bit.

Yeah, immediatly went to enlarge text size after reading the the first topic. 

 Seems alot faster though on the ol' dialup connection.

Looks pretty cool, looks smoothed out and more refined.  just will take some getting used to at first.

The "search" feature seems to work pretty good too!  I haven't used it in some time as it was frustrating!

Right now it is harder to read, but I can get used to it.

I think it's harder to read due to the lack of neutral space around the topics along with the text being close to the same size as the posters name and forum.  Is there a way to add neutral space around the important information like topic title (increase font size compared to poster name and forum location)?  That would allow ones eye to pick out the important topics they want to read much easier.

Part of the 'harder to read' thing for me is that the pages are brighter, so the pupils constrict.

tweak the font size and possibly the boldness of the thread topics as someone previously said.  With that said, I like the new look!

Changed the draperies and threw on a new coat of paint.     But inside here, we are all still the same great family.....
