Don't know about Blacks response: Some people buy to make money nothin wrong with that some people like me don,t give a hoot about the price or lost money it is about working on a car that we love , take our time doing it.

I totally understand why but was asking black.  If I were more handy and had the time, I would love to bring a car back from the dead.  However I'm not, so I bought the nicest complete car I could find within my fun budget.  Cars are hobby, business, and fun in different ways to all of us.

I wish I had Jedi skills, but I'm not far beyond putting gas in one.  I totally respect the personal satisfaction one gets from building their own.

With that said, I don't invest in cars.  I drive them:)

I'm with ya on that. I was just trying to suggest that while money spent now yes it might be more than it's worth "now" but they most likley will go up in value in the future. But maybe in the future we won't be able to afford one if they go up too much in value.( So buy now?)  Me... I don't worry to much about the value as I never plan on selling it, so build it/spend money on it how you want I say?

For me, I'd rather own something I can drive today then to have a half dozen projects sitting around that I keep 20 years and can never afford to do anything with.  That's why a driver is worth more money to guys like me.

I`d say it`s about time to start a new for sale topic and lock it...  :faint:
318 or not , 40k obo does sound like a good starting point to me. Selling high dollar hobby cars never was like selling hamburgers. I`m sure this rare beauty will steal someones heart.  It only takes one.  All bs in this topic won`t help. :2cents:

I hope I didn't offend anyone?  I thought the more posts , then the more people would look? I'd love to buy it but don't have the funds! I'd pay your asking price if I had it.!
The plus.....You can drive it now, it's rare but it's not like an  ultra rare hemi vert that you would be afraid to drive. I LOVE the red interior!  :2thumbs:  Love the T/A hood
basically whats not to like?

Thank ya Dutch!  I once posted on someone else's for sale ad with a comment that I thought the car was priced too high.  When I upset the member who started the thread for another, I realized that my comment was poor board etiquette.  Since then I have always been respectful of other members deals. If I were overly concerned that someone's car was priced to high, I suppose I could send them a message with my opinion.  However, If I'm not a buyer, or if the individual isn't asking for opinions, I guess the proper thing to do would be to keep my  :2cents:to myself.  I'm a believer in Karma, so maybe I deserved Black crapping on my ad?  I'll take Dutch's advice and get another ad in the works.
