That was exciting to watch!  I was rooting for the kid too, he had a very strong car all race and was very smart about his driving and positioning.   But I think they still could have ran in the large packs, those cars didnt over heat at all, seems like hype to me.  Great race though.

Overheating in a pack was not the issue it was simply 2-cars hooked together were faster than the pack, keeping more than 2-cars hooked up was not possible.....Will be interesting to see what the powers at be come up with to try & address this situation.

Don't really see what there is to address? Seeing several two car pairings fighting for the lead seemed more interesting than watching one freight train IMO.

Watched the race today with interest.  My Wood Brothers actually had a fast car today.  They are from Stuart, Va and that is my home town too.  Went to school with Eddie and Len  Wood.   Glad they had a good day.  :woohoo:
