California

Yosemite
Lake Tahoe (summer, so gambling, watersports, golf
D-land & other various amusment parks all over the state

SF is cool city to visit (try & catch a baseball game just to say you did it)
If you want a good baseball experience don't go to the pros, (Nothing wrong with them its just harder to enjoy oneself when $20 is shelled out for parking alone) If you are returning through sacramento, hit up a rivercats game (AAA farm team for the A's)
$1 hotdogs & ice cream, cheap beer & food, & $5 seats out on the grass in right field. more fun & laid back than any pro game

However my best recommendation is to

Try to at least drive through Yellowstone on you way back west. You will not regret it. I know these are way too big but here is a common site on some roads & Lower yellowstone falls, neither pic shows the true scale or awesomeness of what is there

How about Nebraska?  We, um, we got snow....and cornfields....and cattle.  Seriously though, we got the Strategic Air Command Museum, which is awesome!  First thing you see when you enter the Museum is an SR-71 Blackbird!

It's quite a big road trip around the bottom, right around the coast to New York then across the top then down the west coast back to LA.

NZ thats great news!!  You probably won't have time to see all of the US and I know alot of the members would like to meet you.  So the logical plan would be to make sure you are in Pennsylvania in July for the Carlisle show!!  Looks like alot of members are going to be there!!  If you come into California and travel across the country, I would suggest you fly out of the US from somewhere on the east coast . . . . like New York or something!  Doesn't make sence to try to make it back to CA in the limited time that you will have.  I'll help ya anyway I can!!

Thats a good point but the main reason for this trip is to do it by road. 42 days worth, so I'm trying to guesstimate that out of those 42 days 20 of those days will be raod trip stopping at locations, hotels, sights and sounds etc the other days will be shopping, looking etc. But that is a very good piont, may think about it but driving isn't that bad, espeacially when everyday you see stuff you have NEVER seen in person before or at all. Thanks mate I know you'd be more than willing to help anway you can.  :wasted:
