one legger conversion?

i want a sure grip rear, how hard or possible is it to convert a one legger to a sure grip? also how much would this conversion cost and parts needed to do it? thanks bro's

It`s not that hard to do but you will need a dial indicater too do it as you have to remove the center carrier with the ring gear attached & change the carrier for a sure grip unit & reset the gears lash / mesh. The sure grip will run approx $200 used & 2-3X that new & probably $150 to install it ;)

hmmm, with those numbers$$ i think its cheaper to keep looking for a sure grip. think so?

 They are getting hard to find , I assume you have an 8 3/4 diff , butif you are patient 1 will turn up

I don't know if this will help, but in the Mopar Action magazine April 2002! Wow are they that far ahead already? It is on newstands now, has the Ray Barton Hemi Land Speed Record holder 69 Daytona on the cover.........there is an ad on page 17 (Canadian version)
