Will they fit in the fender? I ask as I bought a set with the Halo feature and they won't fit without cutting a hole in the headlight socket in the fender. So I didn't install them in mine.
Yeah Brad. they required me to drill a 1 3/8 hole in the back of the fender for mounting. I plan to make a plastic plug in the lathe with a hole in it for the wire to seal the area.

My shop had been busy over the last few months. I have only had time to order parts and plan. I installed and roughly lined up the fenders and grill. as usual things are way off from the factory. I want to shave the front bumper into the fenders. Also started mocking up the console..I plan on doing some work as my shop work eases off. Here are some recent photos. Thanks everyone  :feedback:

Hi John,

I'm interested to see what you come up with for a console!

I played around and did a general mock up out of cardboard. The postioning seems right. I will want to drop the shifter boot into the console, also recesses with the emergency brake handle , an area for a GPS unit under the dash and of course cup holders.

That was exactly what I was wondering. Priority Mail?

Sneek Peak of the weekends work on the console.. Made from 18 ga aluminum, (I plan on having covered in leather like the dash cluster). Need to finish the ends add panels for under the dash, fabricate mouting tabs on the tranny tunnel and mount a plate for the parking brake boot.I ran out of argon over the weekend so this is where I am at.

Ok , looks like the console is 90% done( other than being covered with black leather) .I may have to modify the sides a little for some seat clearance. Looks like I have room for a combo stereo and GPS . I made some brackets for the emergency brake handle plate(which will be removable ) for servicing the brake cables. I plan on a cover for the rear tunnel section. I made sure I left enough room for carpeting and sound deadening around the outside bottom of the console. I will address the issue with the exhaust pipes next.
