Phenomenal work!

The PT Cruiser wiper motor is interesting. Does the original crank arm work or did you have to fabricate one?

The reason that I have never installed later model wiper motors and controllers is because our e-bodies have the "park" function that puts them on to of the lower trim and below the hood line.

Does the PT motor park there?

  Yes the PT cruiser wiper motor does not have a park mode.Since I plan on flush mounting my glass ,there will not be the wide molding on the lower part of the windshield, hence I going to mount the wiper arms lower than normal. I can shut the wipers off in the lower position in delay mode.  :bigsmile:

While the car was upside down today, I modified the rear outer wheel houses for more tire clearance because of its lowered stance (kinda the same mod that Arron Beck did on his cuda).

Thanks to J&C Auto Restoration in Murrells Inlet SC for gently media blasting the Cuda body and applying the epoxy primer. Next is quarter panel installation and panel fitment. :bigsmile:

Not too long ago quarter skins were only option for Cuda and Challenger . Some were installed correctly and some were not ,like ones on my car. Using the full quarters is a no brainer for a black painted car, less welding, body work , plus it gets rid of the ghost line the quarter would show in the sun where it was welded. Even though the quarter extensions ,outer wheel lip and quarter window areas was solid they had surface rust ,I wanted to blast these areas too . Hopefully I should have them hung this week sometime.  :bigsmile:

Yup Alan,your correct the 70-71 Cuda Quarters are on back order right now. Doesn't matter because I gonna eliminate the side marker holes anyway like you said. The car looks so much better without them  :bigsmile:
