This page is for 1974 Dodges, but the data applies to them as well. http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/images/TSBs/1974/25-01-74D%20page2.jpg

It does not get specific, it is a rather generic identifer. An S in that spot means 'Special', it would indicate a Cuda so that the stripes, badging and any high performance parts related to the model would kick in.

Can you get a clear photo? Some of what you typed out is just not possible & some info is missing.

i havnt got the car yet, just making sure i want to get it. has a title. no motor or trans. Actually i am more excited about getting the car now that you have posted this information. Rally Red, thats a great color, since its a Barracuda i suppose it didnt have a stripe? tinted windows is very interesting. i dont understand how i know to put black or white door panels in interior, i guess black carpet. and if there is nothing in the codes about a sunroof, then the sunroof was not factory, but this makes me very curious since it came with tinted windows? thanks so much for letting me know the color of the car. that makes me happy.

there were no code on a fender tag for sunroofs, it was just on the broadcast sheet.
Tinted windows were standard on cars with air conditioning

M52 was coded on 1974 A-body fender tags.

I checked the Barracuda section of the 1974 Databook, I do not see the sunroof being available?
Take a look to see if I missed it.  :dunno:

I do not recall ever seeing one either.   :clueless:
