I enjoy the show. I've seen all 4 of their episodes -- very entertaining, especially for Mopar enthusiasts.

You can follow them on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/graveyardcarz) or check out their website: http://www.graveyardcarz.com/.

All of their episodes can be watched online through Koldcast.tv: http://www.koldcast.tv/#/channel:original_series/category:series_drama_1/show:graveyard_carz_2 or if you have an iPhone or iPad, you can download their app and watch it there.

I'm eagerly awaiting episode 5.

With all the awesome mopars they have in the yard, too bad they couldn't find an Imperial hearse instead of the caddy.

Right now you can only watch it online. It's being broadcast exclusively by Koldcast.tv, but I hear they are working on a deal with a cable station (but I'm not sure).

Ok, feedback was asked for...so here goes.

Great quality of production (I am a video producer by trade)......nice editing and shooting.

I like the overall concept -- an "American Choppers" format show, mixing mopar stuff with behind the scenes goofiness.

I have to say that while it is entertaining for a little bit, I think the non-car content is just too much.

I had heard about this show when they just had the teaser episode out....and I said the same thing then...too much "brab @ss" and not enough mopar content.

The mopar content that is there really does intrigue me...but after watching 35 minutes of episode 2 (the pumpkin episode) I turned it off....it seemed like 10-15 straight minutes of pumpkin-related stuff.  The first 20 minutes I would say wasa good balance, for the most part.

Just too much non-car stuff for my taste....kind of like what American Chopper has turned into.....10% actual bike related stuff and 90% "other".

Just not my cup o' tea I guess.

Turn up the mopar content and I would be interested.

Do the following episodes follow the same format or does car content increase?

I agree, and was not expecting that quality. They have me drooling at that twisted 71 cuda to see an outcome(makes my car seem oh so nice) and he is talking about saving most of the metal????????????????    I would tune in each week if they actually work a car in between skits.

Talked to my wife, I'm putting together my resume, packing the house and kids and heading to Oregon for a job. I love it!

I was hoping more car and less soap opera. I guess that's just me. In order to draw more viewers I imagine there needs to be that amount of fluff.  :dunno:

I think they will draw MORE viewers if there is more mopar stuff.

There are already tons of "reality-soap operas" on TV and the web.

There are already several car-related shows as well.

Frankly, its the mopar aspect that could make graveyard carz different enough to get a viewership.

American Chopper and those other "reality" shows can (now) have more of the soap opera stuff, as you put it, because the characters have already been developed and they already have an audience "hooked".  Think back to American Chopper's first season....it was MUCH heavier on the bike-build aspect.  As the characters developed they switched to more of a 50/50 mix of bikes/"drama" & tom foolery.  And even with as popular as that show is, it is losing viewership.

For Graveyard Carz, while some of the fluff was funny, it wasnt funny enough to influence me to come back and view other episodes....they arent as funny as they seem to think they are, honestly.  They seem like nice guys, but what I will (may) go back for is the meager amount of mopar content, only because there is so little of it to be found on TV.

Watched the first two episodes yesterday.  Totally agree to stop the soap opera portion.
I don’t care about pumpkin carving contests.
Would love to see the more technical aspects of reviving a Mopar from death.
Since the show is directed towards Mopar fans, I would think that the show can continue w/o the scripted reality portion and center on the actual work.
The show’s intro, prominently pronounced on episode one, leads the viewer to believe it will be a how-to show.  The owner made it a point that they rebuild to OE specs.
So, let’s see more info on restoring to OE; I can learn from that.  Soap opera aspect, my life has enough SO already - don’t need instructions.

And I must say that after all the car/bike/truck shows that keep coming out I loved the coddington show. They actually showed the construction of cars, paint, etc. with just enough of the "goofing around" in the shop to keep my wife from being bored from gearhead talk.  The mopar guys should do one more episode and maybe pretend the camera`s are not aroundand we can see something happen on that roadrunner!

I managed to get through the remainder of the episodes today & I'd have to agree that cutting some more of the bs'ing from the overall picture would really make it a golden series. :2thumbs:   Oddly enough, I'm still drawn to the show as it sits because I just love seeing all those MoPars in the shop. :lol2:

Well,

Made it through them all and besides the little dog, I think by episode 4 things started to kick in a bit more as far as work. Let me say that I posses a very sarcastic sense of humor so I greatly appreciate Mark. It isn't the typical yelling at each other drama, thank God!

Anyways, got almost everything boxed and finally purchased some nice woven letterhead for the resume. Still trying to convince my wife but I figure by the time I hit Northern California the sedatives will have worn off and it will be too late to turn back...
