Wow, Kyle, really sorry to hear about those theives, I restrain to use other words for "theives".  Were there any security cameras in the building, inside or out?  Were there any cameras outside on any surrounding buildings?  Ask around.

I saw the news last night and some guy got caught throwing a snowball at some police officers.  The way he got was that Homeland Security had cameras set up near by and they saw who threw the snowball.

Hope they get caught.  As a State Trooper said to me after my car got hit and the people took off, "People like that eventually get stuck in the glue.".

:22yikes: :swear: I, for one, know how long it takes to build up a collection of gear like that, let alone the money involved. That just plain sucks!  :walkaway:

The only cameras are on the adjacent building. I was with the Police and Forencics team until 2 am Monday (Tues), and will not hear from them until they review the video. The building itself was not broken into (it has two security doors) and keys were used. Only a handful of people have the keys, so it must have been an inside job. The "security" guard was arrested on a previous out standing theft warrant, but we have no reason to believe it was him.
Funny thing is whomever stole the gear had knowledge of the space and music gear. The space we rent is in an old arms bunker below a steel factory, totally removed and hidden. Also, only certain gear was targeted and carefully removed, mostly recording gear and some specialized guitar stuff. The thief did not bother with the dozens of vinatage Telecasters,  Rickenbackers, Jazz Basses, Marshall amps... and he carefully removed certain effects pedals from our boards, leaving far more valuable ones behind! WTF?
I personally lost $10,000 of gear, all can be eventually replaced, except my '79 Les Paul, very rare and very dear to me. This is the second invasion I have experienced this year and its very deflating. :violin:

I'm sorry to hear about that...It's sad other people actually have the mindset to do these kinds of things.  Besides thieves, the other thing that really irks me are idiots who key other peoples' cars.  WTH is wrong with these people? :villagers:

Awe man, I know very little bout the music making part of the music business, but I know anything "Les Paul" as far as guitars go is expensive. Can't stand thieves. It really sucks that some people see what you have and covet it so much, they have to steal it from you.

As mentioned, they will reap what they sew soon enough. Again, Sorry for you loss guy. Sounds like you really had a connection to that 'old Les paul..If you have them, please maybe post some pics of the stuff so we can keep an eye out on EvilBay as I'm sure they didn't take it to actually play music with it..

Sorry to hear that buddy.  Even though the gear was stolen from off site storage, your homeowners insurance may cover part of the loss (provided you have such insurance).

Wow, that really stinks. :villagers:

I know how you feel. Back in the late 70's I had a Fender Precision stolen right off the stage at the end of the night. Nobody saw a thing and I never got it back. I always thought it was an inside job. Fortunately, it wasn't my 72 4001 Rick.

I hope you get everything back.
